The treatment of Eye

Diseases with Chinese Medicine

Your eyes can reveal more than you might expect. Illnesses such as diabetes or cardiovascular disease can often be reflected by the condition of your eyes. Glaucoma, optic neuritis, and even vision loss are often associated with systemic health problems. It is this interconnection between your eyes and your overall health that makes Chinese medicine an ideal solution to numerous eye and vision problems. A Chinese medicine practitioner specializing in eye disease can determine imbalances within the body that can manifest into conditions affecting vision and sight.

Holly Battrum, L.Ac. is our practitioner on staff specializing in eye disease, among other specialties. Utilizing AcuNova and Micro Acupuncture techniques, she is the first practitioner in the region to offer qualified care and treatment to those patients suffering from eye conditions not normally treatable through conventional medicine. After patients have been diagnosed by their ophthalmologist, Holly will work closely with them to ensure a thorough treatment plan is provided along with the appropriate measures to monitor progress and improvement.
